One could be completely justified in saying, “USF (Universal Studios Florida) dives effortlessly into a two foot kiddy pool of quirky tropicalia and Ambien,” which is why I am saying that exact thing right. now. With older USF releases the previous observation is exceptionally true, although, on USF’s Universal EP the duo is heard instead embellishing on club style dance grooves and their signature soundscaping. USF experienced some traction back in 2009 with their debut release Ocean Sunbirds – 13 immaculately textured tracks finding obvious inspiration in Animal Collective-esque composition.
