Tristan Shone, seen below, is an engineer, musician and creator of these Arduino-powered machines. Shone single-handedly designed and built all of his musical creations. All of his machines link up with, Ableton Live, a music sequencer and digital audio workstation. Furthermore these instruments were built to be specifically abused to create some very interesting sounds.
By far though Shone’s most intriguing device is his MASKS, which shape much of the sound during his performances. They give him the ability to make sounds that range from dinosaurs to just plain terrifying machine sounds. Check out more on his story at Wired or watch below
