Legal Free: Hip/Hop Jay Gatz’s ‘The Chill’ and other songs

Columbia, SC local hip/hop artist Jay Gatz (Trent Seawright), is a raw and overwhelming talent and on The Chill and Highbernation you’ll have a chance to hear some of his ability. Although Jay Gatz has been under the radar since 2011 he has been relatively prolific, releasing 4 mixtapes on Datpiff. Rumors are that he is working on an EP currently. Gatz has garnered comparisons to Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, and on older recordings presents quirky lyricism with Del the Funky Homosapien prosody. I am not exactly sure where Jay Gatz is going artistically, as I have heard a shift in his style from modern hip/hop to a more modern rap style, but for now we have some free tunes to snack on. I urge you to listen to the songs in their entirety, you know.. so you don’t miss out on any lyrical gems.
